This project wants to answer to the recent and future reality in the sector of the formation of high-specifified aluminium parts as the increase of the presence of aluminium parts in vehicles until now hasn’t been united to the development of specific techniques for the fabrication of this type of pieces, but the previous knowhow of lots of aspects of steel has been transferred „directly“ to the alloying of aluminium without paying attention to new challenges that come out when processing this type of materials.
As a consequence the following project puts the focus on the development of new avant-garde materials and technologies to integrate into the main elements that influence in the alloying of aluminium directed to the automotive sector.
