OXIFLUENT Project

OXIFLUENT: Catalytic Oxidation Technologies for Treating Effluents in the DADMAC Production Process

CROMOGENIA is developing the OXIFLUENT project, which aims to design and develop highly efficient and durable oxidative technologies for the treatment of aqueous and gaseous effluents generated in the new DADMAC (Dimethyl Diallyl Ammonium Chloride) production process.

This project seeks to overcome the limitations of current treatment methods, improving both performance and environmental impact by developing innovative and sustainable technology. Through this process, effluent treatment will be optimized, contributing to the reduction of the environmental footprint of DADMAC production, a key compound in the manufacturing of cationic polymers used in various industrial applications.

The OXIFLUENT project has been underway at our facilities since March 2023 and will continue until September 2024, with a total duration of 18 months and a budget of €357,708.00.

This project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF 2021-2027) and the Center for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI), supported by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (IDI-20230666).
